Mindful Me! Kids Sensory Workshop - 2pm Tuesday 28th Jan

Children will get to make 2 essential oil roller blends of their very own.

We believe giving children tools to help self regulate is an important part of growing up! These techniques come in very handy through teenage years and beyond.

The act of stopping, taking a moment to use their roller, taking deep breathes while they enjoy the scent then feeling positive that they have done something for themselves all of this both consciously and subconsciously is an uplifting experience. And such an easy one!

In this session we will make 2 blends...

1. To help me calm - great for sleep, anxiety, tantrums and stress 

2. To give me courage - great for school/kindy backpacks, sports events, when going through change, life events!

🌿 We will explore the oils together through fruits, flowers & woods chatting about how each smell makes us feel.

🌿 Using their own tick chart the child can make a note beside their fav oils (they do not need to know how to write just at their own pace can tick or cross what they like or dislike or can write notes such as "made me happy" if they are able & want to)

🌿 We will then choose 2 oils to make our 1st roller and create! (we find more than 2 for children overwhelming & they remember alot better why they chose the special 2, they can also more easily differentiate between the 2 smells when using their roller)

They will also get to choose a special crystal gift 🎁 🔮

🙏 Please note this is an instore activity not holiday programme so you do need to stay with your child.

🤔 How long does the activity go for?
However long your child would like it to, but plan about an hour.
Some get really into the process & some children get stuck in then when the job is done so are they!

All are welcome and all will take something away from the experience.

But! if you can't make it for any reason, just let us know and we will orgainse for you to either collect/arrange shipping for us to send you these 2 rollers we will make for you.
